Stable Book Group and Open Road Join Forces for E-book Growth

Stable Book Group has entered a new partnership with Open Road Integrated Media, marking a major step forward for independent publishers in the digital market. Under this agreement, Open Road will become the exclusive e-book distributor for all Stable-owned publishers and those supported by Stable Distribution.

Starting November 1, 2025, all Stable e-book titles will be included in Open Road’s Ignition program, which creates smart, data-driven marketing campaigns to boost visibility and sales.

David Steinberger, CEO of Open Road, called it a first-of-its-kind collaboration with a client services provider, noting that the deal will expand the Ignition program’s reach beyond its current 90,000 titles.

Keith Riegert, president of Stable Book Group, said the move gives small independent publishers the same digital marketing advantages that larger companies enjoy. “Our publishers have already seen incredible results through Open Road’s platform,” Riegert said.

Formed earlier this year by six independent houses, Stable Book Group continues to grow rapidly. After launching Stable Distribution in partnership with Hachette Book Group this June, the new alliance with Open Road strengthens its mission to provide better support and visibility for indie publishers.

This partnership highlights how collaboration and smart marketing can help independent authors and publishers thrive in today’s fast-paced e-book market, where discovery is everything.
